ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Wolverine Athletic Conference announced its Cross Country honors following the completion of the 2019 WHAC Championship meet, with several Blue Devils gracing the list. For the men's team, they finished 7th out of 10 teams at the WHAC championship on November 9th in Allendale, Mich.. The women finished 8th our of 10 teams at the same meet with an average time of 22:16.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University cross-country teams prepare for the WHAC championship meet hosted by Aquinas College at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids Michigan on November 9th. The ladies will race at 12 noon at a 5k distance and the guys race will run at 1:00 at the 8k distance. The Blue Devils just ran on this course two weeks ago in a different meet.
The Lawrence Technological University cross country teams competed in the Great Lakes Invitational hosted by Aquinas College (Mich.) at the Riverside Park on Saturday, October 26th. The race was divided into two divisions, the Maroon and the White. The majority of the Blue Devils competed in the white division for the race, while Nolan McGahan ran in the maroon division, a more competitive field including many WHAC competitors, placing 42nd among 311 other runners.

The Lawrence Technological University cross country programs ran in the Oberlin (Ohio) Inter Regional Rumble on October 19th, making and breaking a few historic times, including several personal bests from both squads.
Following the conclusion of this past weekend, the Lawrence Technological University men's and women's cross country teams ran in a split squad meet, where some of each team ran in the Lansing Community College invite and the other ran in the Louisville Classic. The conditions across the board were ideal, resulting in season and personal bests.
The Lawrence Technological University Cross Country Programs, due to a mix up on dates, will be sending two squads to two different meets this weekend on October 5. One group from the men's and women's team will travel with Head Coach Eric Green down to Louisville (Ky.) for a tough competition in the south. The other two groups will be running in the Lansing Community College race on Friday, October 4th with assistant coach Malik Jordan.
This past Saturday, September 21st, the Lawrence Technological University cross country programs ran in the Warrior Challenge hosted by Wayne State University in New Boston, Mich. The conditions were warm for both the men's and women's races with the humidity high on a course that required multiple laps and a rather big hill to compete on.
Completing their second meet of the season, the Lawrence Technological University men's and women's cross country teams ran in Ohio at the Otterbein University Invite on Saturday, September 14th. The women made headway despite only having two runners while the men placed 3rd overall.

Following a historic season last year with a bunch of firsts, the Lawrence Technological University women’s cross country team starts off the 2019 season this Saturday in West Virginia. Only last year did the Blue Devils place 7th in the WHAC, their highest ever. Now, after graduating two of their top runners, the young team looks onto the 2019 campaign with some new faces and more training, to exceed last year's achievements.
