Lawrence Tech asked Head Coach Stephen Behmlander for his thoughts on the match. Here is what he had to say about it:
"Both teams stepped up and played up to their potential today. We are still making some rookie mistakes on both teams, but are recovering better when we do error and learning from it. The ladies played very well today while playing shorthanded because of injuries, so we began their match down 0-2. […] Overall both teams played well. We need to keep our unforced errors to a minimum, I am convinced that will come in time...and our continued success will follow".
The Blue Devils will return to the courts on September 22 when they face Indiana University Kokomo (Ind.) in Kokomo, Ind. at 2 p.m.
